The Birds collection was created by Japanese industrial designer Tomoko Mizu, whose work is characterized by restrained poeticism and respect for the material and production process. The motif of the bird in this collection was chosen consciously – it has long symbolized freedom, prosperity and peace in various cultures. These meanings are subtly transferred to the everyday vessel, giving it emotional depth and lasting value.
The jug is made by hand using the glass lampworking technique. Borosilicate glass has a special transparency, lightness and resistance to temperature changes, which makes the container suitable for everyday use. Each bird is shaped individually, so each jug has slight differences, testifying to the handmade craftsmanship. The jug is dishwasher safe, using a low temperature (up to 40 °C), it is recommended to dry it carefully.
